本課程除了簡介經濟學基本原理外，並期學生能發展出經濟學的思維邏輯及靈活應用其分析方式，解釋現實世界裡的各種經濟問題與現象。一學年的課程中，上學期著重於個體經濟部份，下學期則討論總體經濟部份。

English Course Description

This course introduces the principles of economics, and also expects that students may develop the economic thinking logics and apply the economic analysis flexibly, and explain the economic problems and phenomenon in the real world practically. The part of Microeconomics will be focused on in the first semester of an academic year, and Macroeconomics discussed in the second semester.

教學目標
Course Objectives

1. To introduce the methods and applications of economic analysis.
介紹經濟學的分析方法與應用。
2. To introduce important issues in microeconomics and macroeconomics.
介紹個體經濟學與總體經濟學之重要議題。
3. To help the students develop skills of critical thinking using economic reasoning.
利用經濟學思維培養學生的批判分析能力。
4. To help the students create their own job market niches.
協助學生建立其在就業市場之利基。
5. To help the students make the best decisions.
協助學生做最佳決策。
