  英文概要
Sociology is popularly viewed as studies concerning social structure of a given society. Although this is an important side of sociology, there is another side of it which examines daily social life and those who live it. The terms "sociological social psychology," "psychological sociology," "sociological psychology," and "microsociology" are often used to distinguish this field from macrosociology and psychological social psychology. The study of social psychology is concerned with various aspects of human behavior and social life. It assumes the reciprocal influence between individual and his/her social situations. It can be said that society is within the individual, and the individual is within society. Social psychology is a discipline born in the twentieth century. Its two focal academic origins are from the fields of sociology and psychology. Therefore it is suggested that there are two types of social psychology: sociological social psychology (SSP) and psychological social psychology (PSP). The current course introduces various representative research topics or issues in the domain of sociological social psychology, examining the contribution of sociology in this field. It includes perspectives and methods of this discipline; it contains qualitative and quantitative approaches; it connects between macro-level social phenomena and micro-level individual world; and it explores this field's theoretical and applied dimensions. In addition, the current course emphasizes the relevance of social psychology both as an academic discipline and as an applicable discipline to everyday life. This course divided into four parts: Introducing Social Psychology; Self, Society, and social patterns of Human Experience; Reality Negotiation with Others; and Institutional Social Psychology.
