	社會變遷與創新(SOPS428) 課程概要

	中文概要
	本課程旨在理解人類社會「過去／現在／未來」的變遷原理，以及展現在社會及心理層面的現象，內容將介紹西方經典理論，並著重探討現代、後現代社會為人類帶來什麼困境，同學亦須閱讀臺灣本土作品及提出研究成果。
	英文概要
	The purpose of this course is to enable the students to analyze the social change from the viewpoint of sociology-psychology. Two major parts included in the course: (1) introducing the main theories about social change. The classical theories and contemporary thoughts would be taught, to make students understand how those masters propose the problematic and how they try to solve them. (2) Apply the theoretic viewpoint to analysis local social change. Through the readings of Taiwan local research, the students are requested to pay attention to the surrounding life world, and analysis it with historical concerns and socio-psychological insight. The topics: A) Main theories to explain the social change, B) Development and under-development C) Post-Industry, Post-modern, and consumer society, D) Understand Taiwan--historical view E) Some phenomenon about Taiwan’s social change
