	中文概要
	大二英語是一門通用語言能力課程。延續大一英文，是一門著重聽說讀寫的課程。大一英文使用中級教科書，大二英文使用高級中級教科書。大二英語以學生分配課堂作業為特色，例如讀者和作者，學生必須到教室前面完預習的工作。教師需要跟踪學生的進度，以增加學生在課堂上的口語和寫作量，並確保每個學生都有機會參與。英語系主修學生而言，這門課程旨在提在口語和寫作方面的高技能和能力，並幫助為專業英語系課程做好準備。然而，對於非英語系學生來說，大二英文是他們將在大學階段完成的最後一般語言能力課程，因此該課程的目標是幫助學生獲得最多的語言生成技能。
	英文概要
	Sophomore English is a general language proficiency course. It follows Freshman English, which is a four-skill course with an emphasis on speaking and listening. Freshman English uses an intermediate-level textbook, and Sophomore English uses a high-intermediate textbook. Sophomore English features student assignment of classroom jobs, such as reader and writer, which means students have to go to the front of the classroom to complete jobs. Student contribution is tracked in order to increase the amount of student speaking and writing in class and ensure that every student has a chance to participate. Since English majors continue to take general language proficiency courses, this particular class is designed to increase skill and ability especially in speaking and writing and help major prepare for advanced English courses. However, for many students, Sophomore English is the last general language proficiency course which they will complete at the university-level, and as such the goal of the course is to help student achieve the most language production skill possible.
