	組織社會學(SOPS242) 課程概要

	中文概要
	人類互動逐漸頻繁，必然要發展出簡化複雜性的機制，例如固定往來的團體、結構龐大的組織，抽象深沈的制度。都些機制，對人們提供有例可循的互動模式，節省相互摸索的時間成本，但卻限制了自由創造的可能，也形成了權力運作的溫床。例如家庭、經濟、教育、政治，都是這類機制的典型。本課程介紹理解人類組織的各種理論與議題，主要含括三個部分課程：組織社會學理論的引介、組織現象的反省、台灣組織現象的分析、組織理論如何幫助我們理解這些經驗現象。探討的主題包括：科層體制、制度研究、權力與領導、企業組織、非營利組織、專業工作、人際網路等。
	英文概要
	This course provides sociological perspectives on groups, organizations and institutions. We are born into a group, known as “family,” and live in organizations and institutions that we take for granted. Kinds of organizations are the building blocks for action and are inherently social entities with structure and culture. They give us conveniences, save us time costs, but also shape us in ways we do not always examine. This course reviews classic and contemporary literature on organizations, and reads contemporary studies and discussions about Taiwan organizations.
