	中文概要
	閱讀是學習的基礎，也文化資本的象徵能力，更是國家競爭力的指標之一。大學教育的目標應該要激發學生對閱讀抱著正面積極的態度，經常參與閱讀活動，培養閱讀習性，未來才能成功地終身學習，累積更多的文化資本。本課程希望透過一系列名著的閱讀與討論，在教師的導讀與學生彼此的分享過程中，提高學生的閱讀與思考能力。
	英文概要
	Reading is the foundation of learning, the symbolic ability of cultural capital and a central index of national competitiveness. The goal of university education should aim at encouraging students to hold a positive attitude towards reading and to participate in reading activities on a regular basis. Only by doing so can students develop the habits of lifelong learning successfully and accumulate more cultural capital. It is hoped that, through reading and discussing a series of great books, this course will improve students’ reading and thinking capabilities.
